Bruno Tot, software developer at RGO komunikacije d.o.o., holds a bachelor's degree in computing from the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences. He has seven years of professional experience in software development, having previously worked at Amplexor and Notch, formerly Agency04, before joining RGO komunikacije.
Throughout his career, Bruno has contributed to the development of complex web applications, most notably through several years of work on the CEERIS (SRCE) application. He became part of the RGO komunikacije team in July 2023, where he works as a software developer on projects related to River Information Services and supporting information systems.
At RGO komunikacije, he has worked on the FGKS, CEERIS (RGO), FRED and LMS projects. On the FRED and LMS projects, he was involved from the very beginning, with a strong focus on setting up and developing the frontend architecture. The FRED project focuses on the implementation of advanced ICT and UAS, i.e. drone-based, tools for climate change adaptation, risk prevention and wildfire mitigation in Mediterranean countries. LMS, or Lock Management System, is an application intended for lock operators, enabling them to manage the entry and exit of vessels through locks.
Although his professional work covers both frontend and backend development, Bruno is primarily focused on frontend development in React, with occasional work in Java Spring Boot. He places particular emphasis on TypeScript, reusable code, high-quality frontend infrastructure, type-safe development and maintainable code. He also has experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, CI/CD processes, automation, testing and GitHub Actions.
Bruno is ambitious, reliable and calm in his work, with a strong preference for clean code principles, best practices and the modernization of existing solutions. He also participates in the preparation of development documentation and aims to strike a balance between technical quality, long-term maintainability and practical user needs.
In his free time, Bruno prefers indoor disciplines: board games, playing bela and chess. He especially enjoys fast-paced bullet chess on lichess.org, where his peak rating is 2392, making him someone who likes solving both bugs and chess positions under time pressure.
