Maintenance of AIS and VHF Systems

For the client, the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia, RGO Communications Ltd., in consortium with Micro-Link d.o.o., is involved in providing maintenance services for the national AIS and VHF infrastructure.
The contract includes preventive and corrective maintenance of the Automatic Identification System (AIS) and the maritime VHF radiocommunication system. Maintenance activities are carried out across a network of AIS base stations and a control centre, as well as VHF base stations and VTS centres throughout the Republic of Croatia.
The scope of work includes system monitoring, fault detection and reporting, implementation of corrective actions, technical support, and reporting on equipment status and completed maintenance activities. Particular emphasis is placed on the reliability, availability, and security of systems that play an important role in maritime traffic monitoring and management.
The maintenance of AIS and VHF systems contributes to navigation safety, more efficient communication between vessels and coastal services, and the continuous operation of Croatia’s key maritime communication and vessel identification infrastructure.
