Feasibility Study of the PannonRIS Upgrade (1.phase) in Hungary included elaboration on possible upgrade options for the following radio/telecommunication segments: Inland AIS System, shore based radars in inland waterways, CCTV and DGPS. Overview and analysis of the relevant EU strategies was provided, as well as a technical presentation of existing and planned solutions with reference to potential benefit/cooperation options for the PannonRIS developments.
UkrRIS-Danube – River Information Services on the Ukrainian Danube

Ltd., in cooperation with Periskal BV, is providing expert and technical
support within the UkrRIS-Danube project – River Information Services on the
Ukrainian Danube.
The UkrRIS-Danube
project is focused on the development of River Information Services (RIS) in
Ukraine, with particular emphasis on the Ukrainian section of the Danube River,
including the ports of Reni and Izmail. The project aims to align Ukrainian RIS
systems with European standards and enable their integration with the European
EuRIS and CEERIS platforms.
The project includes
the development and specification of key RIS systems and services, including
fairway information services, traffic information services, traffic management
support, vessel tracking and tracing systems, corridor management services, and
digital tools that contribute to safer and more efficient inland waterway
transport.
RGO Communications
contributes through its experience in the development and implementation of RIS
systems, interoperable information solutions, and digital tools for inland
navigation. Its activities include expert support in project documentation,
technical coordination, system specification, quality and risk management, and
stakeholder communication.
The project represents
an important step in the modernization of inland navigation in Ukraine. It
contributes to safer, more efficient, and more transparent traffic on the
Danube, better integration with the European inland waterway network, and the
strengthening of the Danube’s role within European transport corridors.
