Upgrade of the VTMIS System

For the client - Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia, RGO Communications Ltd., in consortium with Atos IT Solutions and Services d.o.o., is implementing the upgrade of the national Vessel Traffic Management and Information System (VTMIS).

Upgrade includes the installation of new AIS (Automatic Identification System) infrastructure, migration of data to the new infrastructure, setup of a dedicated AIS data repository with integrated data and analytical models, as well as enhancements to the AIS information system. The project also involves system testing, user training and technical documentation delivery.

This solution enables more reliable maritime traffic analytics, improved safety of navigation, and better interoperability with European maritime systems. The project strengthens the Ministry’s capacity to manage and monitor vessel movements in the Adriatic Sea, thus improving safety, environmental protection and the efficiency of maritime logistics.
